East Harlem rapper brings ‘Raw Hardcore’ music
to the world with new singles
NEW YORK, NY – One of the best musicians who has flown under the radar for the past few years will soon be a household name, thanks to a couple of new singles that are already creating major buzz in and around New York.
The artist’s name is Adriano and this hard-hitting rapper from East Harlem has been in the game for a minute. He has a signature sound that is familiar yet different and unique in a way that immediately makes people sit up and listen. His two new singles are “Raw Hardcore” and “Rock and Roll,” both of which are available across all streaming platforms. A new video for “Raw Hardcore” was recently released on his YouTube channel, and a video for “Rock and Roll” is slated to drop sometime in February.
“Raw Hardcore” is a song that Adriano describes as “fun, but still serious.” Underneath a rugged lyrical delivery, Adriano examines the journey that Hip Hop has taken over the past 25 years and begs listeners to consider what it takes to be pure to the craft and excellent in the things that are required to make one’s dreams a reality.
“I’ve been lucky enough to have been around people who showed me the old school game, and Raw Hardcore means taking it back to that New York hardcore mentality of just going for yours,” Adriano said. “It’s about knocking on doors and trying to break your way through. I’m stepping to the stage and into the spotlight. I’m going for everything this year. And I’m bringing that hardcore mentality of stepping out of your comfort zone and into yourself as a person. This is a song about that growth and journey.”
Adriano couples those thoughts and expands on them with his second single “Rock and Roll.” Slightly braggadocious in nature but in a way that’s fun and upbeat, the single examines those lifestyles that people choose to live and how often it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday routine and ignore the fun side of life.
“Everything gets moving so fast and we get caught up in things like social media and work and everyday life – but we still have to maintain that rock and roll,” Adriano said. “This song is about what’s real and what’s not. Rock and Roll to me means showing you that magic of how this Hip Hop thing is done, but at the same time understanding we go through everyday stuff. So how do you do both and keep that rock and roll a priority? It can be done. It has to be done.”
Adriano said he’s excited for a wider audience to get to discover his music, and he knows that these two singles will help open more doors for him in the future for things like live performances and maybe even a tour.
